This kit includes everything needed to make your very own pair of knitting needles.
Included in Kit
- One pair of 12″ long hard birchwood dowels perfectly sized to make no. 10 knitting needles
- Medium and fine grit sandpaper to smooth your needles
- One piece of Stockmar modeling beeswax to polish
- One piece of cotton flannel to finish and rub the beeswax in
- One pair of end caps to adorn the tops of your needles
Directions
- Use the included sand paper, the sidewalk, or a pencil sharpener to make the tips of your dowels as pointy as a gnome’s hat.
- Sand them until they are as smooth as silk.
- Warm and soften the beeswax and rub lightly on your needles, then use the cloth to buff the wax in until no residue remains.
- Use the end caps to adorn the tops of your needles.
